I had such an amazing opportunity. The Institute at Utah State University was asked to provide the choir for the CES Broadcast from Elder Ballard. It was at BYU.
Utah State provided a choir all right! There were a total of 1,100 people. I am amazed that there were that many people that wanted to do it- willingly!
We took 21 buses down: It was a party!
And if I do say myself, we sounded AMAZING.
We sang two songs, "True to the Faith" and "Our Savior's Love"
"True to the Faith" was SO powerful. We were bearing our testimonies through song. We sang parts in Spanish, Portugese, and Korean.
I can't wait for the people that speak these languages fluently to see the broadcast, that's why we did it, you know!
Not to mention that Elder Ballard's talk was SO great. He stressed the importance that we are the future. loved it. I need to go back and read it.
We even got some face time during the broadcast, luckily my family DVRed it.

Well shoot....I didn't go to the broadcast and now I'm wishing that I had! It would have been so great to hear all of you singing and see your sweet faces! I'm gonna have to go find it and watch it. :)
It was amazing, your choir filled almost one entire end of the Marriott Center! You guys sounded beautiful!
