Funniest Week of My Life

This week on Campus a game has been played called "Humans vs. Zombies"
This is what the website says about the game:

In this epic week long game, all players will begin as humans. One player will be randomly chosen to be the Original Zombie, or the OZ. The OZ will be the original infector and will go around tagging the human players in an effort to turn them into zombies. The zombies must tag and feed on a human every 48 hours or he will starve to death and is out of the game. The humans will have Nerf guns or sock balls as a weapon. They will be able to hit the zombies with this and the zombie will be stunned for 7 minutes and cannot play.

The objective of the game is to get your side to win! As a zombie, it will be your mission to feed on every single human until there are none left and the world/USU’s campus has been turned into Zombieland. As a human, it is your mission to survive. The human side will win if they are able to survive until all the zombies die off or if they are able to complete the final mission.

There are safe zones:
Inside any building on campus (Residence Halls, Academic Buildings, TSC, etc.)
Touching a door handle will make you safe. You have a 5 second buffer to exit a building as a human. Touching YOUR own car will make you safe as well. Any balcon/catwalk outside will be safe.
-          Any outdoor University Event
-          Cemetery
-          Game must not be played in the streets
Game will not be played on buses, but the bust stops are fair game.

I think I may have died laughing this week several times while this game has been going on. Part of me says this is so stupid.. they are sooo immature.. and the other part of me is jealous that I'm not playing.
Picture this: walking to class, minding my own business, as 2 humans are running full speed, with their backpacks on, nerf guns in hand, to try to get into the same building as me before the 5 zombies (clearly evident by the bandanas around their heads) get them. (is this real life????) You see, once a human reaches any building on campus they are considered safe.
Another instance: walking to the library. Around every corner that I pass 2 zombies lurking, waiting for a human to walk by. They glare at me, they're suspicious of everyone. I considered waiting there to see the action. haha
Another instance: My friend told me when she was riding the bus, there were a couple humans aboard that rode the bus around through all the  stops a couple times, because they were too scared to get off.
And today, I saw a kid run out of the library, do a tuck and roll and keep running.. But not before he was brutally attacked by a couple zombies.

In case you were wondering, they are sold out of Nerf Guns at Wal Mart.

Hundreds of people have been playing this week. It ends tonight- I heard there's a big face off on the quad for whoever is still alive.... haha. haha.

Its just so funny to me:
Human Rules:

Humans MUST stay on campus during the week. If you are to be gone for more than 24 hours, you will turn into a zombie. End of story.  You must keep your ID card on you at all times. You must have only ONE ID card. Don't use fake ID's.

You can stun a zombie by hitting them with Nerf Darts or a sock ball. A zombie will remain stunned for 7 minutes and cannot participate in the game in any manner.

4.       When you are tagged by a zombie, you must relinquish your ID card to the zombie horde. After approximately one hour, you will become infected and turn into a zombie. You will now put your bandanna on your head.
5.       BANDANNAS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES! They must be visible and outside of clothing. Humans wear them on their arms or legs
 Zombie Rules:
1.       As a zombie, you must feed every 48 hours. Failure to feed will result in your death.
2.       A tag is any firm touch to the human body excluding any places generally considered inappropriate. Collect the human’s ID card afterwards.
3.       Report your kill to the website within 3 hours.
4.       If you are shot – you will be stunned for 7 minutes. You may not interact in the game in any way. This will be based on the honor system unless a moderator is around. Once stunned, move your         bandanna down around your neck and wait out your stun time. Once it's up, put your bandanna back on your head and feast!

BANDANNAS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES! They must be visible and outside of clothing. Zombies must wear bandannas on their foreheads.

How awesome is that? Ok USU has got my vote. Carl can go there if he so deems (don't tell Preston I said that). So how come you didn't play? Next year they should make the zombies dress up like zombies. I think that would make the game more exciting (and entertaining). So fun. Maybe next Martin reunion?
