LAKE POWELL

Last week I got to go to Lake Powell and it was no fun at all!

Lake Powell is not even a beautiful place, what with those breathtaking canyons and pure crystal water.Yuck! I hated that we got to stay in my friend Karen's family's housboat and find a camping spot in our own secluded spot:

We hiked to some legit Indian Ruins that were not cool at all:

Corey and Ben brought a bow and arrow and we caught ourselves some fish! :

I tried out the bow, totally felt like an Indian or something :

Once a fish was caught on the arrow, it was then sliced in half by Corey's machete:

you can see the bottom half falling into the water and the blood on the dock. So lovely!

Cliff Jumping was not a thrill at all, nope not one bit:

Karen and I hated the fact that we got a little bit tan:

I absolutely loathed getting massive air on the tube:

I was pretty bummed that learned how to surf in the wake:

Also, I was very dismayed that the weather was super warm and beautiful.

Oh well, better luck next time I guess! :)

I have the BEST family

I have the best family. They have been there for me when I needed them the most. I was able to spend a week in Provo and stay with my cousin Caytee, her husband Preston, and their 2 month old baby, Carl. It was so much fun! Caytee is like the older sister that I never had. I look up to her so much, and I remember when I was younger I always wanted to be just like her! Caytee is so caring towards towards other people and everybody loves her. Thanks Caytee for the amazing week, you are the best and I don't know what I would do with out you!

One of the days that I was there we went to Herriman to Emily's house. We sewed these cute happy birthday signs that I'll always be able to use when its someone's birthday. So cute! Aunt Marian and Aunt Carol were able to come to so it was quite the party. "Cousin Club!!" :)

I also look up to my cousin Emily so much! She is such an amazing wife and mother and her family is so great. She is also such a great example to me. I hope to have a family like hers someday! 

Another fun part of the day was being able to play with all of Emily's cute kids. This is adorable Annie Grace, she reminds me of a little dress up doll:

How could I do a blog post about how great my family is without including the Dodd side? Even though they mostly live farther away, I love my Dodd family so much, so I'd like to give shout out to them as well :)

And last but not least, I need so say how blessed I am to have MY family. They are my favorite people in the world and I am so lucky to have them. They're all my best friends. We laugh together, we cry together, they're the best, and I couldn't be more blessed to have the family I have.

And I can't lie, I am REALLY jealous! I have never even been to Hawaii let alone to live there.

But, the real reason I am blogging about this is because I am going to miss my sister so much! Its going to be so weird having her live so far away. Good thing there's skype, right?

TIM TAM SLAMMin

Have you ever had a Tim Tam Slam?

My friends and I did it last night- to say the least it was a delicous and refreshing way to welcome in that cold May snow. (Snow!!??)

HOW TO:

#1: Bite two of the four corners of your Tim Tam. Bite the two corners that are diagnol to each other.

#2: Put one of the bitten ends of your Tim Tam in a glass of hot chocolate and suck inward, using the cookies as a straw.

#3: Once your done slurping, stuff the Tim Tam in your mouth and let it melt in your mouth. Mmmmmmmmm

2nd Year of College.. Done!

I have officially completed my second year of college.. and it feels real good! This semester I have had a really busy schedule which has been as follows: 

Monday: 8:30-12:30 Classes

3:00-6:00 Work

Tuesday: Class, 8:30-9:20

Babysit: 9:30-5:30

Wednesday: same as Monday

Thursday: Babysit, 9:30-5:30

Friday: same as Monday and Wednesday

This Thursday will be my last day of babysitting because I'm not doing it for the summer, and I'm kind of sad about it! If there's one thing I have learned its staying home and taking care of kids all day is not a walk in the park! Its pretty tough sometimes. I have a lot more respect for you moms out there. But don't get me wrong, it is so fun too! So here are some pics of the freaking adorable kids I have been playing with all semester:

This week is Finals Week and I am already done! I only had two, one on Monday and one on Tuesday. It feels SO good to be done. I am free! I've spent a couple long nights in the library, but maybe some of them have been more productive than others because I do things like this:

And last but not least, I would like to inform you all that I have finally decided on a major! It is... (drum roll please).....

Graphic Design!!! I am super stoked about it. It is something that I am excited about doing so I know its what I'm supposed to major in. I am all finished with my generals now, so I will start the art classes for it in the Fall. I can't wait!!

And this summer: I don't really have any huge plans, I will still be working at Stucky Chiropractic:

And I'd like to give a shout out to Sue because I bet she is reading this:)

Anyway, that is my life right now! Life is good.
