Last week I was lucky enough to get the week off for work because the people I work for took a trip to Lake Powell, so I did my own fair share of fun things!
On Monday and Tuesday, I took a road trip to
West Yellowstone:
We had two friends that have been there all summer performing in the plays at the Playmill so that was the point of our trip. Holy cow can I just say best roadtrip ever?? My friend Parker was able to bring his Windstar, so we were all in the same car. We think of her fondly as, "Winny"
So for the couple of days that we were there, we saw some of the sights of West Yelli and saw our friends Brittany and Shelby in their shows:
I can't even begin to tell you about all of the inside jokes that were formed on this trip. I gained a new nickname, "Tampy Patty" Loooonng story
Holy Guacamole Yellowstone is such a beautiful place:
Old faithful was pretty sweet! It took forever to finally blow though
Just waiting for Old Lateful:
It was so good to see Brittany and hang out with her for a couple days!
Jennika and Shelby were reunited and they were ssssooo happy:
Brittany played the part of Dorkas in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers.
ha. ha. ha.
The crew after the show:
Here is the best part of our entire roadtrip: we all got wildlife shirts with our names on the back.
They consisted of dream catchers, spirits of the wildlife, wolves, bears, flying eagles, etc.
Mine is a personal favorite, a bit of a dream sequence with wolves dreaming of other wolves.
Can you say first day of school t-shirt??
The day after I got home from Yellowstone, I met up with my cousin Jon in Provo and we climbed to the top of Mt Nebo which is the highest peak in Utah at 11,877 feet. I thought I was going to die. But I made it!
It was so beautiful up there:
We were so high that there was a cloud up there with us.
It was amazing being up there so high!
The group at the top:
And to finish off this post, look what I happened to drive past on my way out of town last week: How could I not take a picture??
I love this temple!:
Well that concludes this post. I think I'll go to New Hampshire on Friday, see ya when I get back! (No but seriously.)

Madi,
Crazy but my cousin is in your picture from when you climbed to the top of the Mountain! Matt Johnson, small world! Way to go on that hike, I think I'll stick with the windcaves, that makes me tired enough! ha ha!
PS Your shirts are AMAZING!
